Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr is wary of a Kettering backlash when the Poppies come to Aggborough in the Blue Square Premier.

Tomorrow's opponents were dumped out of the FA Trophy in midweek at home to Chasetown after a replay, who ply their trade two levels below in the Northern Premier League.

An instant return to action on the road is a chance for Marcus Law's men to get that shock out of their system with Harriers, who exited the trophy at Wrexham last Saturday, also looking to get back to winning ways.

But boss Burr will be definitely be missing full-backs Lee Vaughan, who is suspended for one game after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Wrexham, and Mike Williams, who is out after undergoing an operation on his foot.

Harriers also have a hosts of knocks and niggles to worry about with Jack Byrne, Lee Morris, Mitch McPike and Callum Gittings all carrying minor injuries, while Jamille Matt and Tom Sharpe have had the flu this week.

The club will also bid goodbye to on-loan striker Craig Lindfield, who will return to Accrington Stanley after the game at the end of his one month stay.

Burr believes he will need all of his players on-form to win the game, despite watching Kettering's trophy defeat in midweek.

He said: "It was quite an exciting game but they will be coming here quite wounded, really, having been knocked out by a team from lower down.

"But like everything this season we will concentrate on our own camp and try to select the right team to get the right result and three points."
