17.30: Tim Nash's video report is in from Ewood Park: Blackburn 3 Wolves 0

Otherwise, that's all folks.

17.20: Blues match report: Birmingham City 1 Tottenham Hotspur 1

17.10: Wolves match report: Blackburn 3 Wolves 0

4.58: Here are the pictures from both games: Saturday match action – in pictures

4.55: Final whistle at Birmingham: Blues 1 Spurs 1. Comments, please, Blues fans.

4.51: Final whistle at Blackburn. Final score: Blackburn 3 Wolves 0. Get those comments in. You are now bottom of the league. Where do Wolves go from here to avoid relegation?

4.45: The whistle cannot come quickly enough for Wolves. Meanwhile, Blue and Spurs keep pushing for the win but no clear cut chances yet.

4.40: Goal! Birmingham 1 Tottenham 1 Craig Gardner heads past Gomes as Spurs fail to keep their opponents out again. Birmingham's fantastic home record - only the one defeat to Everton in the past year - could be preserved.

4.35: Stephen Hunt's volley is pushed away by Robinson for a corner. Christophe Berra puts the ball over in the resulting scuffle.

4.32: William Gallas has stopped Cameron Jerome breaking through but Blues are knocking on the door at home to Spurs at St Andrews. Arsenal have gone 2-1 up over Fulham.

4.31: Comment from AngryWolf: "now 4 nil? TOTALLY EMBARRASSING!!" Not yet. Not yet. There seems no way back for Wolves now but they are playing for pride.

4.28: Matt Jarvis decides not to shoot but Elokobi's deflected shot is saved by Paul Robinson. That is his first save of the half by my reckoning.

4.23: Fahey is off for Blues and Zigic, who scored the winner in the eventful Birmingham derby on Wednesday, comes on for the home side.

4.21: Hunt is on for Mancienne. A Jarvis cross ends up in the stand while Blackburn nearly get in for a fourth, but the linesman's flag goes up.

4.16: Still 1-0 to Spurs at St Andrews but Blues are trying to take on Spurs, with a couple of efforts including a smart Craig Gardner header which was saved by Gomes. Spurs rarely keep clean sheets so Blues could get something from pressing the visitors.

4.15: Two goals from set pieces, plus another (the second) after Elokobi gave the ball away for a throw. Wolves are being punished for slack defending today.

4.14: GOAL! Blackburn 3 Wolves 0 Ryan Nelson scores after poor marking by Wolves from a Morten Gamst Pedersen free kick. The ball is swung in and no-one reacts in the Wolves backline. Nelson sticks out a leg and there is no way back for Wolves.

4.08: Wolves have gone 4-4-2. Ebanks-Blake makes a positive contribution by forcing a corner, which comes to nothing.

4.04: Blues v Spurs has kicked off again.

4.03: Wolves are back under way at Blackburn. Mouyokolo is off and Ebanks-Blake is on.

3.55: Angry reaction from the Wolves fans on the comments below. Mick will be ringing the changes in the second half.

3.48: Half time at St Andrews. Blues have defended well to limit Spurs but the visitors are 1-0 up after Sebastian Bassong found the net on 19 minutes.

3.47: Half time at Blackburn. Wolves should have been ahead after five minutes but they find themselves 2-0 down. That luck that Mick was looking for is in short supply.

3.46: Two minutes of injury time at Blackburn.

3.44: It is deja vu for Wolves. Just as with Blackpool they are going to go in 2-0 down in the north west for the second time in a month. The half time whistle needs to come quickly so Mick can reorganise.

3.42: GOAL! Blackburn 2 Wolves 0 A long ball is pushed into the path of Brett Emerton by Jason Roberts. The Australian buries it to make it a long way back for Mick's men. The Wolves defence were in shambles there. Emerton scored from an acute angle with his left but the ball should have been dealt with by the Molineux men.

3.40: Wolves have not really carved out a chance since the goal. They have been in the Blackburn half but without any cutting edge. Maybe Stephen Hunt can come off the bench and provide some inspiration. And perspiration. Tom Cleverley makes it 2-2 for Wigan at home to Stoke.

3.33: Matthew Etherington makes it 2-1 to Stoke at Wigan. Not that it helps Wolves much as they trail.

3.32: Wigan have pulled it back to 1-1 while ex-Albion player Diomansy Kamara scores for Fulham to make it 1-1 at Arsenal.

3.30: Kevin Doyle goes down in the box but it's a free kick to Blackburn.

3.29: GOAL! Blackburn 1 Wolves 0 Loads of pushing going on after a corner, Sam Allardyce team style. The ball is bundled over the line by an unmarked David Dunn after the ball is headed back across the goal. Wolves are done by a Big Sam set piece. Predictable but the goal stands, despite some dispute by the Wolves players.

3.20: GOAL! Birmingham 0 Tottenham 1 Blues fall behind to a Sebastian Bassong goal. Ben Foster cannot cope with a Gareth Bale free kick which falls to the former Newcastle man. His second effort hits the back of the net. 1-0 to the Londoners.

3.19: Wolves fans don't often cheer Stoke but Tony Pulis's men at 1-0 up at Wigan through a Robert Huth goal.

3.14: Make that 1-0 to Arsenal at home to Fulham. Samir Nasri with the goal. If they could knock in another seven it would help Wolves.

3.12: With bottom placed West Ham not in action today, Wolves fans should keep an eye out for 18th placed Wigan's home game with Stoke (currently 0-0) while Fulham, who start today in 17th, are away at Arsenal. 0-0 there, too.

3.09: Blues have a good home record under Alex McLeish, including something like only one defeat in 11 games with London opponents. Spurs have only won once away from London this season. After the win over Chelsea Blues will feel confident but so far Ben Foster has had to make a couple of saves, neither particularly close but the early pressure is from Tottenham.

3.08: Wolves came so close to taking their lead, having not won away this season. The last visit to the north west was a defeat to Blackpool where Wolves did not turn up until the second half. No chance of that today as they have already gone close. But not close enough which they may come to regret.

3.05: Wolves hit both posts and the bar! Stephen Ward playing in central midfield hit the post before a Zubar shot hit the bar then the right hand post. How did neither of those go in?

3.02: A win today for Wolves will take them to 15 points but not out of the bottom three, due to goal difference. Matt Jarvis breaks into the box but his shot his defended and out for a throw. Wolves are clearly looking to make an early break through. Corner to Wolves soon after.

3.01: We are under way.

2.49: Over at St Andrew's Craig Gardner follows up his comeback from injury in the midweek Carling Cup win over Villa with a return to the line-up. Tottenham make two changes with Rafael van der Vaart and Younes Kaboul both out for another week after their injuries against Liverpool last week. Jermain Defoe joins Peter Crouch in attack while Sebastien Bassong joins William Gallas in central defence.

2.47: Wolves beat Sunderland 3-2 at home last week while Blackburn were humiliated with a 7-1 defeat at Man United. Will Mick's men be able to inflict further grief on Sam Allardyce's side, or will the home team restore some pride with a win?

2.40: Tim Nash has all the team news from Blackburn v Wolves. Mick goes 4-1-4-1 but there are some surprise names on the bench...

2.32: Don't forget you can follow all the match action minute by minute with our Match Centre, here.
