Kidderminster Harriers get back to football hoping to get a new period of ownership off to a bright start in front of the TV cameras at Southport.

Tonight's Blue Square Premier game at Haig Avenue will be televised live on the Premier Sports channel, less than 24 hours Harriers sold the club to their former chairman David Reynolds.

His predecessor Barry Norgrove and vice-chairman Neil Savery have both resigned, with Reynolds and Mark Serrell taking their place.

The players were on their way to Merseyside as the winds of change swept through Aggborough today, looking to bounce back in the league after disappointingly dropping out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle at home to York last Saturday.

Among them was midfielder Jack Byrne, who is fit again after sitting out the cup tie with a strain to his adductor muscle.

Mike Williams should also be passed to play although the left-back needs a scan to his hip but, with a 10-day break after the game, will be used tonight.

His brother Marc also returns to the squad in attack after being ineligible for the cup game under the terms of his loan from Wrexham.

That is where the good news ends for Harriers - captain Keith Briggs, Ollie Thorne and Aaron Griffiths are all out.

Thorne and Griffiths are both suspended, while Briggs is facing a further two weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

But Harriers still go into tonight's game in the top 10 and manager Steve Burr is looking for his side to apply themselves again.

He said: "We need to get back to working hard and doing the things that earned us where we are in the table, and the football we played as well.

"All of that was missing on Saturday. But we have to get on with it - we have a good opportunity to bounce back."
