Goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is aiming to use his Wolves connections to keep him on top of his game.
After joining Leicester on loan he has been working with Mike Stowell - the record appearance maker for a Molineux first choice - who is goalkeeping coach at the Walkers Stadium.
And Ikeme is preparing for his 50th League appearance tonight against a host of Wolves names against Dave Jones' Cardiff where Lee Naylor, Gabor Gyepes, Jay Bothroyd and on-loan Andy Keogh are in opposition.
But for the rest of this month at least, Stowell is the man he's turning to.
Ikeme said: "It's good working with Mike. Every goalkeeping coach has their own methods and way they work. I want to work their way so I can pick different things up.
"My goal is to keep playing games and trying to improve."
Now 45, Stowell is in his third spell with the Foxes, and it's proved a whirlwind time in the East Midlands given the succession of managers that have come and gone.
Having been goalkeeping coach then assistant manager to ex-Wolves youth coach Rob Kelly, he was brought back to the club to work with Martin Allen, who he then replaced as a joint-manager before returning to work as goalkeeping coach under Gary Megson, Ian Holloway, Nigel Pearson and now Paulo Sousa.
While Stowell is a vital source of knowledge, Ikeme knows he faces a battle for the jersey at Leicester.
He said: "I've always had to fight for my shirt with Matt Murray, Wayne Hennessey and Marcus Hahnemann at Wolves.
"Every time one of us gets in the team we don't seem to move, and it's the same here with Conrad Logan and Chris Weale.
"I just hope I can keep them out."
