More than 300 people flocked to the Molineux to see their Wolves heroes and catch a glimpse of the club's new signings.
Players spent time chatting to fans and posing for photographs.
Young Wolf Bethany Bowen, of Bromsgrove, was among the crowd who headed to the ground for a school holiday treat. The five-year-old was desperate to see her hero Jody Craddock.
Her mother, care assistant Lisa Bowen, aged 32, said: "She's really loved it today. "She's absolutely desperate to see Jody Craddock because he's her idol.
"I'd always encourage people to come to this kind of thing – it's nice for the fans to be able to see their favourites up close."
Friends Ben Holyhead, six, and Charlie Humphreys, seven, enjoyed bagging the autographs of their favourite gold-and-black stars.
Charlie, of Featherstone, who is a season ticket holder, said: "It's been good today. I had a season ticket all of last year in the Steve Bull Stand.
"I definitely think they are going to stay up again this season."
Charlie's grandfather Keith Elwell, aged 74, of Shardlow Road, in Wednesfield, said: "They've really enjoyed it today.
"They have been very excited and they've managed to get a lot of signatures."
Teenagers Helen Hadley, 14, and Abbigail Hetherington, 13, both from Pool Hayes, in Willenhall, were keen to see their favourites Matt Jarvis and Michael Kightly.
Helen said: "I couldn't believe it when I got to meet Matt Jarvis. It was amazing."
Abbigail added: "I came to the open training session last season. It's nice that the players come and sign autographs for us."
Neighbours Ben Fletcher and Robbie Brettle, both nine, of Crowsbridge Mews, in Coseley, had a fruitful morning of autograph hunting.
Ben's mother Hayley Fletcher, aged 39, said: "It is the first time we have been along to one of these. They both love football so they came down together and they've had a great time.
"We're always looking for something to keep them busy in the summer holidays too."
Meanwhile, some lucky fans bid for the chance for to line up as part of the team photo.
Among them were Neve Bowater, aged five, and Natasha, eight, of Wightwick, the daughters of director John Bowater.
