Former Wolves favourite Lee Naylor has returned to the club – but just to get fit.

The ex-Molineux left-back is without a club after his deal at Celtic expired last month.

Now 30, the Bloxwich-born defender has spent this week training at Compton while searching for a new club.

But Wolves have no interest in re-signing the former England under-21 international, who won two league titles at Celtic and the Scottish Cup in 2007.

Naylor spent nine years with Wolves between 1997 and 2006 making over 300 appearances for the club, making his debut in a 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City on 12 October 1997.

Going on to cement himself as a fixture in the team, Naylor won promotion with Wolves in 2003 and was an ever-present in the club's first season in the Premier League, eventually leaving for Celtic in August 2006 in a deal that saw £600,000 and Charlie Mulgrew go to Molineux.
