Wolves rookie Scott Malone has been called in to England's under-19 squad for their European Championships semi-final with Spain.
The Rowley-Regis born left-back flew out to meet up with the squad last night after being called-up by coach Noel Blake.
Malone, who has six under-19 caps, had been on standby but, with Fulham's Matthew Briggs struggling with a hamstring injury, has now been drafted in to the squad.
England meet Spain tomorrow night in Saint-Lo, with France taking on Croatia in the other semi-final.
Wolves' development coach Steve Weaver said: "It's great news for Scott to go out and be involved.
"He was pretty much a regular in the team until the end of last season, up until he didn't play so much while on loan at Southend.
"Whatever happens it will be really beneficial for him to be at a major tournament and hopefully the lads can win and make it to the final."
Malone has already impressed in the early development friendlies this summer, scoring in the 4-1 win at Lisburn Distillery and also starting the first-team's win at Walsall last Tuesday.
