Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr has warned the club's trialists it may be their last chance to impress against Nottingham Forest at Aggborough.

Harriers will take on a mixed Forest line-up but still expected to contain a number of first-team players, with the Championship club splitting their squad as they are also in action at Peterborough at the same time tomorrow (3pm).

Despite the opposition, the manager will again rotate his squad throughout the game to give all of the trial players a decent chance to catch his eye, while getting all of his contracted stars up to match fitness.

But David Hankin will not be among them as the winger will be attending his brother's wedding, where he is best man.

Utility man Chris McPhee may also not be risked after breaking his nose in the 1-0 win at Chasetown on Tuesday night, while player-coach John Finnigan has only resumed light training after a calf injury but will be on the bench regardless.

Midfielder Keith Briggs will also lead the side for the first time since being confirmed as permanent captain for next season, in succession to McPhee.

But it's the trialists that have got the most to play for tomorrow, as boss Burr admits.

He said: "This could be the last chance to impress for one or two of these players.

"We are in a view now where we have got to start whittling down the trialists and making decisions, to give them a fair opportunity to get fixed up elsewhere if they are not in our plans.

"There are good things we have seen from them and other things that make you think they are not quite up to this level.

"The ones that are here have still got an opportunity, but it's really down to them and how they perform."
