Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr will continue to run the rule over as many players as he can in the pre-season friendly at Nuneaton.

Harriers have fielded almost completely different teams in each of their two pre-season friendlies so far, which have ended in defeat to Albion last Saturday and at Solihull Moors on Tuesday night.

Now Burr's men will take on Blue Square North opposition away from home for the second time in a week at Liberty Way tomorrow (3pm), with the manager again admitting results are secondary at this stage of pre-season.

Not only do the squad have eight new signings settling in, they also have a number of trialists bidding to earn contracts at Aggborough, most of whom will get another chance to impress in some form for the Blue Square Premier club.

Three trial strikers - Paul Connor, Kristian Dennis and James McPike - were used over the course of Tuesday's game, with the manager keen to take a further look at the free agents tomorrow.

He said: "That is what pre-season is about and it will the same sort of thing at Nuneaton, getting the opportunity to look at these players without the pressure of winning games.

"It's about looking at individual performances and players earning themselves something - I am not interested in results as such.

"The friendlies are there for me to have a look at players who are on trial and also the new lads that have just signed to see how they bed in. They are doing very well, which is very pleasing.

"This will be a a tough game, Nuneaton have just been promoted so it will be a good test.

"But I am only interested in how we perform."
