Midfielder David Jones joined Wolves' tour of Ireland today determined to put his contract saga to one side and build on last season's achievements.
The 25-year-old is still to sign a new deal promised by manager Mick McCarthy in March.
Bolton, Blackburn and Newcastle are all said to be interested in the former Manchester United reserve, who has just a year left on his current terms.
But although the ex-Derby playmaker is remaining tight-lipped on his contract situation, Wolves are confident Jones will soon put pen to paper.
And Jones is looking forward to getting to know the six summer signings and the new campaign as a Wolves player.
He said: "I just want to pick up from where I left off at the end of last season and build on that.
"With the new additions we're all looking forward to getting the team spirit we had last season. I'm sure the new lads will contribute to that.
"There's competition for places and we've signed some good players. The quality of the squad is rising all the time.
"Hopefully we can translate that onto the pitch."
Wolves are spending four nights and three days in Ireland, then a night each in Belgium for the Charleroi friendly and Edinburgh for the Hearts game.
