Harriers sign one and lose one

Kidderminster Harriers have signed their first player for the summer after completing a deal to bring goalkeeper Danny Lewis back to the club from Redditch.
The 27-year-old has signed a one-year deal which will start on July 1, by when he will have turned 28 with his birthday on June 18, following new assistant boss Gary Whild and last season's signing Jack Byrne in making the journey from the Valley Stadium to Aggborough.
But attacker Darryl Knights' two years with Harriers are set to come to an end, after the club confirmed his release once his current deal expires this summer.
For Lewis it's a homecoming of sorts, after spending two years at Aggborough between 2004 and 2006, with manager Steve Burr moving quickly to seal the deal as other clubs laid in wait.
He said: "Danny is someone who has a vast amount of experience whilst still being a young lad. For my money he is one of the best goalkeepers outside of the Football League and we are delighted to get him.
"He has shown great loyalty to Redditch in staying as long as he did and has done fantastically well for them, but he's made it known that perhaps it is now time for him to be moving on.
"I know we have competed with a number of Blue Square Premier sides to bring him here, so we are really pleased."
Harriers have lined up another two pre-season friendlies, both against League Two opposition, with two games in three days against Burton Albion and then Crewe.
The Brewers are first up on Saturday July 31, followed by a night game two days later with Dario Gradi's men the visitors.
The summer schedule has already seen confirmed the visits of Premier League new-boys Albion on July 10 and Championship side Nottingham Forest on July 24.
