Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr will roll back the years with a special playing appearance in a fans day at Aggborough.

The manager will pull on his boots at age 50 tomorrow to link up with the ranks of the Kidderminster Harriers Independent Supporters Trust (KHIST), who will field three separate teams on the day in games against supporters from Tranmere, Preston and Halifax.

KHIST have used 54 players over the course of the season so will easily be able to spread their squad over the three fixtures, kicking off at 10am against Tranmere followed by Preston at 12:45pm and Halifax at 3:30pm.

Some of the Harriers' staff will join with supporters for the matches including boss Burr, assistant manager John Finnigan, physio Gavin Crowe and defender Marcus Bignot.

Former Aggborough favourites will also link up with the squad including Paul Davies, Adie Smith, Andy Fearn and 'the flying postman' John Williams.

And Bignot, who returned to the club as a player this year after a 13-year absence, is eager to enjoy himself with the fans tomorrow.

He joked: "The gaffer could be the weak link, I pity the team that ends up with him! I think I am in the first game and I am looking forward to it.

"It's going to be a good day and it's a chance for our supporters to get up close and personal with us."

Admission is just £1 to spectators who will receive a match programme.

The gate opens at 9.15am and the Aggborough Suite bar will be open from noon.
