Finish the job urges Rangers No 1
Stafford Rangers goalkeeper Lee Evans has urged the team to "finish the job" and take another huge stride towards safety in the Blue Square North for next season.

Chris Brindley's men find themselves with one foot in the door for next season, barring a mathematical miracle, after beating Vauxhall Motors on Saturday and taking a point from Solihull Moors yesterday.
The run of games left virtually doomed Motors unable to catch the Marston Road club in the games remaining, although bottom club Harrogate could still pull it off by virtue of their four games in hand.
But should the basement boys lose at home to Blyth Spartans on Saturday and Rangers win at Gloucester, it would seal a place in the league next seas0n for Brindley, Evans and Co.
Yet the goalkeeper is telling his team-mates not to let their season end there and, standing just three points from bang on mid-table in 12th, look to turn a relegation battle into a comfortable finish to the campaign.
He said: "We have managed to pick up four points over this period, now it's up to us to finish the job. The bottom half is so tight that, with a decent run of results, we could go on and finish in 12th. That would look a very respectable season for us.
"That is the goal for us, to get as high as we can up the table."
Evans has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Marston Road after joining from Chasetown last summer, after overcoming an injury-plagued period to cement his place as Rangers' No 1.
It has been just the sort of impact the 26-year-old was looking for, and the goalkeeper reckons he has done his bit.
He added: "I would like to think I have played my part. Our defensive record is a lot better now."
