Kidderminster Harriers have lost Adam Boyes ahead of the home game with Cambridge after the on-loan striker was recalled to Scunthorpe United.

The 19-year-old was due to stay until the end of the season but is needed back at Glanford Park as cover with leading goalscorer Gary Hooper injured, and was due to play for the Iron in a reserve game against Rotherham this afternoon.

Harriers are also without left-back Lee Baker, who sat out Saturday's defeat at Salisbury with a groin problem, while midfielder Jack Byrne faces a late fitness test on a thigh injury. Assistant boss John Finngan's troublesome calf keeps him out.

Cambridge come to Aggborough tonight having climbed a place above their hosts by beating Histon on Saturday, leaving Steve Burr's men bang on mid-table in 12th after taking just two points from five games in March.

The team's exploits in February had earned Burr the Manager of the Month award and, lo and behold, the team haven't won since.

He said: "We have gone one way and then another. We have had some tough games over the last couple of weeks but we were very poor on Saturday. We seem to have stopped scoring goals and are making far too many errors at the back.

"But we will keep working away at it, get that spark back and hopefully get back on the same sort of run that we were on. It's still mathematically possible that we can make the play-offs, and while there is a chance we will have a go."
