Kidderminster Harriers captain Chris McPhee believes Stevenage are the ones running scared ahead of the FA Trophy semi-final first leg at Aggborough.

Harriers go into Saturday's tie as underdogs against the Blue Square Premier league leaders, who beat them to win the competition in 2007 and are the current holders after regaining the crown last year.

But McPhee has seen the odds upset before in the trophy, after his part in the Ebbsfleet team that went all the way at Wembley and stunned champions Aldershot en route in 2008.

And the Aggborough captain, who scored the winner in the final against Torquay that year, has warned their illustrious opponents to fear the unexpected.

He said: "I have been there and done it in the trophy, I know the commitment and the attitude that is required and I know the players currently at Harriers have the hunger and desire to do the same.

"It's going to be one to remember I think. Their manager will be very worried about the way that we play, because there is not another team like us in the league in the way that we mix things up in games.

"I reckon Stevenage could be even more worried about us then we are about them. We are capable of beating any team in this division."

McPhee still rates his big day out at Wembley in 2008 as the best experience of his career - and also the most surreal.

The midfielder had his heads in his hands earlier in the final after missing a penalty, only to redeem himself with the winning goal for Ebbsfleet.

He recalled: "It was the best day of my career, without a doubt. To score the winning goal at Wembley is a boyhood dream for any footballer, so to be able to fulfill that is something that I will treasure forever."
