Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr has urged the Aggborough faithful to stay right behind the team ahead of a season-defining triple header for the club.

Harriers take on the first of a two-legged FA Trophy semi-final at home on Saturday against competition favourites Stevenage, before the return game at the Lamex Stadium seven days later.

In between, for good measure, comes a not insignificant trip to Luton in the Blue Square Premier with a lot of ground to make up, as the team currently sit 10 points outside the play-offs after they were docked three points in the expungement of Chester City's results on Monday.

Success on all three fronts would see Harriers fans planning a trip to Wembley after a win over play-off chasers in the league, and boss Burr believes the supporters have a big part to play in the coming games.

The manager has been impressed by the backing from the stands since taking charge in January, and is urging all involved with the club to embrace the big occasions on the horizon.

He said: "These are the types of games we've earned the right to be in - we're looking forward to them and I'm sure the supporters are as well.

"The support we've had from the terraces has been fantastic and the fans will play a really big part in things for us over the course of our next three matches, so long may that continue."

Harriers fans will get the chance to see the FA Trophy for themselves on Friday, when it goes on display in Kidderminster's Swan Centre from 12.30pm ahead of Saturday's semi-final first leg at Aggborough.
