Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr has started the countdown to seven days which could make or break the season for the club.
Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr has started the countdown to seven days which could make or break the season for the club.
The prospect of a mouth-watering Wembley appearance in the FA Trophy final will become a lot clearer after Saturday's semi-final first leg at Aggborough, with the return game seven days later at the Lamex Stadium.
Sandwiched inbetween the two is a not insignificant Blue Square Premier trip to Luton next Tuesday night, with a goalless draw at Eastbourne on Saturday leaving Harriers nine points adrift of the play-offs.
As the season enters a pivotal stage for his team, boss Burr has assured fans that his players know what is at stake.
He said: "We will be fired up and ready to go on Saturday - it is a big week for us."
The Harriers boss handed a first start to loan signing Adam Boyes on Saturday, who is at Aggborough on loan for the rest of the season from Championship club Scunthorpe.
Burr has explained that the player is still a little off the pace after just one appearance for the Iron this season, but reckons his new addition will come good in time.
He said: "I thought Adam did very well, particularly in the first-half. He's not played a lot of football over the last couple of months but I thought he did really well for us on Saturday."
