Kidderminster Harriers boss Steve Burr has been named Manager of the Month for February as his team kick off a pivotal March with the visit of Ebbsfleet.

Burr was appointed at Aggborough on January 21 as successor to Mark Yates, who left for Cheltenham just before Christmas, and the team are unbeaten in his seven games in charge.

Now his first full month at the helm has ended with an award as Harriers tackle six league games and a two-legged FA Trophy semi-final this month, starting with former Birmingham defender Liam Daish's team tonight.

The up-and-down Kent outfit are in the bottom half of the table after some erratic results this season and, after walloping Histon 3-0 on Saturday, Burr is hoping for another supershow from his in-form team.

He said: "Ebbsfleet is one of them where hopefully we can continue the good form that we have been in. We will be looking for three points definitely, we are more than capable of that.

"We played some great stuff on Saturday which was very pleasing, it was a great all round team performance, and more of the same tonight would be very welcome."

Loan signing Adam Boyes goes straight into the Harriers squad after signing on loan from Scunthorpe for the rest of the season but another borrowed striker, Port Vale's James Lawrie, is on international duty with the Northern Ireland under-21 side in San Marino.
