Former Kidderminster Harriers captain Mark Creighton believes his old club can stun Stevenage in the FA Trophy last four and make it all the way to Wembley for the final.

Harriers, with Creighton in central defence, were beaten finalists in the competition at the hands of their now semi-final opponents three years ago, with another showdown in a two-legged semi-final on consecutive Saturdays starting at home on March 13.

The Aggborough club booked their place in yesterday's draw after a 2-1 win against Blue Square Premier league leaders and Creighton's new club Oxford on Saturday, with the big centre-half in the starting line up that was consigned to defeat.

And Creighton now believes that his former employers can cause another upset at the hands of second-placed Boro, who are the new favourites to win the trophy after Oxford's exit.

He said: "I must admit, I had a little giggle to myself when it came through. I wasn't giggling too much on Saturday, mind you, but I could see the funny side of the draw.

"But I still wish Harriers all the best, and I hope they do win the competition. I will be absolutely buzzing for them if they can do that. I might even go down to Wembley if they reach the final!

"I fancy them to go through, I really do. Stevenage have got other things on their mind, chasing us to get out of this league is their main concern after going close for the last couple of seasons, so they have other things coming up.

"I wish them the best of luck, if there was one team apart from Oxford that I could choose to win the trophy it would be Kidderminster."
