Stafford Rangers veteran Tony Dinning has declared himself ready to play at Farsley Celtic after another 90 minutes against Hyde United.

The 34-year-old returned to the side and got the goal, his second in successive games played, as Rangers played out a 1-1 draw at Marston Road on Saturday.

Dinning had been rested for last Tuesday's Staffordshire Senior Cup tie against Chasetown, after his first start for two months in the previous game at Blyth Spartans.

But the former Wolves player has declared himself fit enough to make the trip for tomorrow night's game - and then to take his place for Saturday's home game against play-off chasing Alfreton.

He said: "Last week would have been too much me to play two games in one week, but that is only because it was my first 90 minutes for a long time at Blyth.

"But I feel fine today, so I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be starting tomorrow night. I am ready to play."

Rangers make the trip to the Throstle Nest having lost just once in their last seven Blue Square North games, against a team who could leapfrog them in the middle of the table with a home win.

But Dinning feels his confident team-mates will take some beating tomorrow.

He added: "We will be looking for three points the way we are playing at the moment, we don't know any other way to go about it."
