Wolverhampton is to stage its first boxing pay-per-view next month giving fans around the world the chance to watch live action from the Civic Hall in their own homes.

Hatton Promotions will screen the entire bill online from their Hatton TV website on March 14, with four ringside cameras to capture every punch of the 12-fight show.

For £2.99, viewers can watch what is expected to be as near four-hour show on the Sunday afternoon of Mothers Day.

Included is championship boxing in the main event, as hometown fighter and former British title contender Dean Harrison takes a shot at Midlands light welterweight champion Ben Lawler.

It 's one of two title fights, as the vacant British Masters welterweight crown will be decided in a Black Country derby and rematch between Tipton's Rob Doody and Brierley Hill's Martin Gordon.

Coseley crowd pleasers Jamie Ball and Richard Ghent are also in action, along with Stafford's only professional boxer Rob Hunt.

All are bright prospects under the First Team Promotions banner, and the show in total will feature eight unbeaten fighters.

Paul 'PJ' Rowson, of First Team, is tipping his fighters to deliver on a worldwide stage come the big day.

He said: "For the price of a pint, internet fans will get around four hours of top-class professional boxing and that represents great value for money.

"We are delighted to team up with Hatton TV and hope this is the first of many shows with them.

"The fighters know they have the chance to impress boxing fans across the world on the internet and that is an added incentive.

"This is a massive chance for them."
