Kidderminster Harriers captain Chris McPhee has set this side a target of winning their next three games to get right back up to speed in league and cup.

The skipper believes the players must set the bar high starting with Saturday's Blue Square Premier visit of Forest Green, Wednesday's trip to troubled Chester City and next Saturday's FA Trophy fourth round trip to Oxford United.

Harriers sit nine points away from the relegation places in the league and have high aspirations in the trophy, where they were beaten finalists at Wembley in 2007 with McPhee himself winning the competition with Ebbsfleet in 2008.

And the midfielder believes that league games against two teams in the bottom four represent a real chance to close ground in the top half of the league, before facing an Oxford side they have yet to lose to this season.

He said: "We should go to Oxford looking to again prove that we can match them over 90 minutes, like we have done twice already this season.

"There's no reason why we can't look at all these fixtures, go out, be positive and get the right results from our point of view. We are a bit adrift of the chasing pack at the minute, so it's important we start winning games to get right back amongst it.

"And a trip to Wembley in the trophy final is a massive incentive for everybody, it's a long way off but that is the goal."
