Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr has told his players to take one step at a time as another cluster of games begins with a tough trip to Oxford United.

Harriers face a crunch clash with the second-placed U's in the first of a double header against their Blue Square Premier rivals tomorrow, with a quarter-final in wait back at the Kassam Stadium in two weeks time.

In between comes a home game against Forest Green Rovers and a trip to Chester City, before the month is closed out with the visit of Histon to Aggborough.

All represents a make or break month for Harriers and Burr, but the manager is urging his team not to get too far ahead of themselves.

He said: "They are all big games, and this is our biggest at the moment because it's the next one. Whether it's Oxford or whoever, it's the next game up and we are looking forward to it. Confidence is very high among the players at the minute, and the team will be up for it.

"We won't be worrying about the trophy game until nearer the time, we have got games in-between that even after this and for now we must concentrate on tomorrow. We can't look too far ahead."

Oxford have lost just three games in the league this season and just two away from home, but lost at Aggborough 3-1 in the one of the best Harriers displays of the season last November.

Now Burr has warned his opponents that the U's could again fall.

He said: "Of course it is possible we can beat them, I believe the boys did very well against them last time and, like I say, everything is possible in football."
