Stafford Rangers will be able to call upon defensive duo Ashley Wooliscroft and Curtley Williams along with striker Warwick Alexander for the derby game at AFC Telford.

The trio return today after missing last Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Fleetwood, although none were injured.

Wooliscroft could not play against his parent club as the right-back is loan from the Highbury Stadium, while 18-year-old Alexander was back with the Stoke academy under the terms of his 'work experience' deal.

Williams attempted to make the game, only to find himself snowed in after starting the journey to Lancashire.

But all will be back to bolster a Rangers squad likely to again miss veteran midfielder Tony Dinning with a back injury, although the former Wolves player is hoping to play a part in Bank Holiday Monday's visit of relegation rivals Redditch and the return derby game against Telford at Marston Road on New Years Day.

Chris Brindley's side will be looking to get some real points on the board to strengthen their four-point cushion from the relegation places, after taking two points from their last three games.

The manager said: "The last three performances have deserved a lot more and, in our precarious position, we need points. I can't ask for anymore from the players, they are doing very well and giving everything to the cause. We just can't quite see it through in games at the moment.

"We have got three games now which we need to get something from. They are all massive games, the festive fixtures, and it should be a good crowd at Telford.

"If we can recreate the form of the last two games, it will turn in the end. We are not far away."
