The Blue Square Premier club are the highest placed team for 36 miles each way with a home game this weekend, against opponents who were in the Championship this time three years ago.

Now they square off in non-league's top flight for the first time after the Hatters' relegation from League Two last term, a place in the top five the prize on the line with Alan Neilson's side in the last play-off place and a point ahead.

The Bedfordshire club are expected to bring droves of away supporters, with the Harriers boss calling for supporters to match what will likely be a cauldron of noise at Aggborough.

And if any other supporters wants to feed their football fix for the day, all will be welcome at Aggborough.

Yates said: "It's a game that everyone is looking forward to, it should be a good crowd. Hopefully we will get plenty of supporters in. And if there is anyone out there who wants to watch two decent teams who try to play football at the right end of our division, then great.

"It's quite an occasion, because it has been some time since the sides last met and Luton are going to bring a lot of fans with them. I hope they do - as long as the home crowd match that support, because we don't want to be outnumbered by them."
