Quinton Hillocks is planning to style and profile his way into an upset in Birmingham as he vies for the British Masters super middleweight title.

The flamboyant born in Florida, raised in Dudley and now resident in Brierley Hill prospect – who doubles up as a male model – goes to the Second City as a massive underdog against hometown fighter Eddie McIntosh tonight.

Not only does the 'away' fighter have a hostile crowd to contend with at the Holiday Inn, the 25-year-old locks horns for the vacant title against a much-fancied opponent who has nine straight wins as a pro.

Hillocks is also unbeaten after making his debut in February, but has had just three fights before being thrust into the title picture.

But that is no problem to the brash Black Country boxer, who is confident of having a belt to go with his customary Superman cape before the week is out.

He said: "It's up to me to create the upset, and I am 100 per cent sure I will come out the winner. I have got that belief and I wouldn't be in boxing if I didn't want big fights.

"To be going for a title so early in my career is some opportunity, so it's up to me to step up and prove that I am worthy of it."
