Home where the heart is for Riley

Kidderminster defender Martin Riley believes home is where the heart will be for Harriers as they aim to bounce back from their Bank Holiday blip.

Mark Yates' men aim to get back to winning ways after defeat at Tamworth on Monday with another double-header, both at home, against Eastbourne on Saturday and Mansfield on Tuesday.

Harriers' unbeaten home record went in the dying minutes against Kettering in the last game at Aggborough, so Riley and Co will be dying to put two wrongs right starting the visit of the East Sussex outfit.

The former Wolves youngster is expected to be recalled to partner Gavin Caines in defence after suspension, and has stressed the need for the team to make their ground a fortress.

He said: "We need to move on quickly. We have got two home games coming up and we need to put good performances in. Since I have been here, we have always won games at our place.

"It needs to be the same this year. We do play good stuff at home. Two wins in our next two games and we will be right back among the pack, where we want to be.

"The league is wide open, so we could push right up there."
