Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has made a deadline day raid to moneybags Manchester City for centre-back Clayton McDonald on a month's loan.

The Saddlers chief moved for the 20-year-old – son for former Saddlers striker Rod – after skipper Mark Hughes was sidelined with a hip injury.
McDonald is available for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy first round clash with Bury – subject to Premier League clearance.
And the young stopper cannot wait to get started.
He said: "I am really buzzing and want to show people what I can do.
"I jumped at the chance of coming here, it is an opportunity for me to gain valuable experience and really push on."
