Growing injury list ruining Rangers
Stafford manager Chris Brindley believes that a growing injury is in danger of ruining Rangers' start to the season after a nightmare Bank Holiday.
The squad has now been shorn of striker Ben Mills, who picked up an ankle injury against Solihull Moors and is expected to miss tough away trips to Droylsden and Southport.
To make matters worst, the team went down 3-2 after looking to have done enough to grab a point, after an 81st minute winner consigned Brindley's men to another defeat.
This followed drawing 2-2 Vauxhall Motors from behind on Saturday.
Now the manager has to patch up another hole in his side, which he has had to do literally from the opening day.
Brindley said: "I have never known a run like this. We seem to be having injuries week in, week out.
"We have to try and get on with it, but we haven't got the resources or the back-up players to replace them. We have some big-hearted people and they are doing their very best to fill in.
"I have now lost my goalkeeper, my centre half, my central midfielder, a winger and now my striker. We are coping as well as we can, but we just can't lose those players."
