The summer signing chose a perfect time to strike, after the League Two minnows had gone ahead in added time through Tom Pope 98th minute goal only for Craig Beattie to equalise three minutes later.
Beattie's first had opened the scoring in the 10th minute, but Michael Cummings' header in the 28th minute brought the Millers back for the first time.
Graham Dorrans restored the lead six miutes after the break, only for Rotherham to equalise again through Pope's first a minute later.
