Brindley wants another 100 percent
Stafford Rangers manager Chris Brindley is looking for his side to give another "100 per cent" performance against Farsley Celtic.
The Blue Square North club have bounced back from two defeats to record back-to-back wins in their first four games - a better start than the team managed under Steve Bull last season.
Now they have a chance to take maximum points from three league games in a row for the first time since Brindley was appointed manager last December, against a team thankful to be in existence after coming hours from being wound up in the summer.
The Celts instead started the campaign with a 10-point deduction after going into administration and - after fighting relegation with Rangers last season - they are one of the favourites for the drop.
But they to have recorded back-to-back wins after losing their first two games, so the Marston Road boss will be taking nothing for granted at Marston Road tomorrow (3pm).
He said: "I wouldn't say it's winnable, it's just another game and we are looking forward to it. Another three points would ease the pressure a little bit, and the players are giving it everything they have got. If you have got lads giving 100 per cent, you have got half a chance.
"We are delighted with these last two games. It's good to get points on the board as soon as you can and no-one likes losing, so the mood in the camp is pretty good at this point.
"No-one is getting carried away, a couple of wins and all of a sudden people start thinking your going to sweep teams away. They are all tough games in this league, it's never going to be easy.
"It's still too early to say anything really."
