That is Aggborough skipper Chris McPhee's description of Salisbury striker Robbie Matthews, who is expected to sign for the club today.

The 27-year-old is now a free agent after leaving their Blue Square Premier rivals and is believed to be the player manager Mark Yates has been tracking for several weeks.

Now Harriers' are homing in on the signature of the tall forward, who was absent for the Whites with an ankle injury as they beat Yates' men 1-0 in midweek.

McPhee - who has been playing up front while the search for a new striker was stepped up - today welcomed the move.

He said: "I have spoken to the manager and I know he is hoping to bring Robbie in today. He should, I have played against him a couple of times and he is a huge striker, with plenty of strength and height.

"He is the Peter Crouch of the Conference, if you like. He is very neat and tidy for a man of his size and he has goals in him, hopefully he will give Matthew Barnes-Homer a run for his money on that front.

"As a player, he will definitely improve our squad."
