Proctor's public apology after crash
Rumbustious Aussie Ty Proctor made a public apology after inadvertently scything down rival rider Ales Dryml during Wolves' clash with Peterborough.
Proctor tried a big, wide run in the dirt in a bid to pass the Czech but lost control and caught Dryml, both crashing.
The Wolves rider leapt to his feet and ran straight across to ensure Dryml was unhurt, and had remorse for his actions afterwards.
Proctor said: "I am so sorry for that. I didn't mean any harm, so I hope he will excuse me. He seemed alright about it.
"In the same circumstances I would hope I could be the same back to him."
It's an indicator of maturity from the 22-year-old, who just a fortnight ago was suspected of venting his frustration on Ipswich rider Robert Miskowiak behind the trees, which screen the exit road leading from the track to the pits area.
