Wolves' Proctor protests innocence
Tough Aussie Ty Proctor was all innocence on suggestions of skull-duggery behind the bushes.
The Wolves reserve was clearly incensed by Robert Miskowiak's aggressive pass in Heat 10.
Words were exchanged as the two left the track and headed back to the pits.
Both were in the saddle as they went behind the trees that screen the section from spectators – but only Proctor emerged at the other end, prompting a general stampede to the scene.
The suspicion was that Proctor had stated his case in the clearest of terms – but if so, he wasn't letting on.
He said: "Wouldn't have a clue what you're talking about. Miskowiak's move was a bit of a problem, but that's racing. Life goes on - next time in the same situation I'll give it back.
"It's not about that, it's about being professional, making starts and winning races, so I'm not really too bothered about it."
Proctor can be a fiery character, but maintained: "I'm just trying to get that out of my system, that's not a really good thing to have in speedway.
"I'm just taking it on the chin. I don't believe I did anything wrong."
