Third-placed Old Hill started brightly in their local derby with Halesowen, where Ravi Nagra top-scored with 64 and Nigel Davenport hit an unbeaten 49 in their total of 243-8.
But the chances of a conclusion to the game were washed away by the rain, as Halesowen were left 52-4 after 16 overs when play was halted.
