Seamer Snape breaking through
Wolverhampton captain Simon Lycett has hailed the breakthrough of young seamer Jack Snape after welcoming the student back for the rest of the season.
Snape marked the end of his degree course by claiming a five-wicket haul to bowl his team to victory against Bromsgrove last weekend.
Lycett is delighted to have the 21-year-old available for the rest of the summer.
The captain said: "As a bowler you improve as you get older and Jack is an intelligent cricketer, who is now working out what works for him.
"He has been in the league now for six or seven years and he has learned in the first XI but he has become a very talented bowler.
"We are delighted he will be available for all our remaining games."
Wolverhampton travel to Leamington on Saturday without batsman Richard Howitt, who has work commitments.
Overseas player Sauraj Bahutule could arrive in time to replace him.
Otherwise, Mike Smith will step in.
