The Welshman is looking to put an inconsistent 2008-09 campaign behind him and become a focal point in boss Chris Hutchings' engine room.

With a year left on his contract, and the departure of captain Stephen Hughes, Bradley knows the onus is on him to impress -Hutchings is sure to bring in midfield reinforcements this summer.

Bradley said: "I have a year left on my contract and it will be a big year for me. I need to push on.

"I am definitely best in centre midfield and I am pushing to establish myself there next season."

The 21-year-old started just 16 games, with a further 13 substitute appearances, last season during a campaign which was blighted by injury.

But he still played a huge part in Wales Under-21s' Euro 2011 Qualifying campaign, which restricted his club appearances further.

He said: "Personally the year has been frustrating and spoilt by my injuries. I haven't had a good run of games.

"I had a couple of ankle injuries earlier in the season and I have had a back problem.

"I am just disappointed with the number of games I have played, but hopefully I will get a lot more next year."
