New boy Sehgal to make Himley bow
Himley will hand a first start to overseas player Saurabh Sehgal in the visit to Kenilworth Wardens.
Indian left-arm spinner Sehgal landed in the Midlands on Wednesday and will be thrust straight into the starting line-up, as Greg Wright's men go in search of a first Premier League victory of the new campaign.
Skipper Wright is optimistic the bowler can make the difference in their trip to Warwickshire.
He said: "He will be a big boost for us. We've been missing a little bit of experience in the attack in our first couple of games and hopefully he can get off to a good start."
The Himley attack will be further strengthened by the return of veteran seam bowler Tim Heaph, who missed last weekend's losing draw against Leamington.
Shafiq Ahmed (4-72) and Stuart Wedge (3-83) shared the wickets, as Leamington reached 299 for the loss of seven after the 55 overs.
A century from opening batsman Chris Tranter (102) ensured Himley's response got off to a flying start, but they were eventually forced to hold onto their final wicket and finish with 267, which was enough to earn them nine points.
But despite the result leaving his team third from bottom of the table with 15 points, Wright remains unconcerned after seeing his team start poorly last season only to finish second.
He said: "We had an inexperienced bowling attack. All things considered it was not something to get too disappointed about."
