It ain't over yet warns skipper

Kidderminster skipper Mark Creighton has warned the teams looking down from the play-off places - "it ain't over yet."

Harriers prepare for their final game of the season at home to Kettering on Sunday with their chances of a play-off place taken out of their hands.

Only Stevenage and Torquay in fourth and fifth place respectively represent teams who the sixth-placed Aggborough club can realistically catch, in game 46 of the Blue Square Premier season.

But Boro face a trip to Mansfield who - while in mid-table with nothing to play for - are unbeaten at Field Mill in 10 games, while the Gulls host a Burton side who come to Devon still needing something to be crowned champions.

The nerves are jangling in all camps, with captain Creighton insisting there is plenty left to play for as long as Harriers play their part.

He said: "Mansfield have had a very good home record as of late and they will not want to lose that, while Burton - the top team in the league for most of the season - go to Torquay needing something. So anything can happen yet as far as we are concerned.

"It's great for the papers and TV, but it's not good for us and our nerves! All we can do is win our game and we must do that. Hopefully we can get a big crowd and they will get behind the boys.

"The mood is good in the camp and we are not downbeat - we have lost one game in the last 15."
