Rangers need another three points
Stafford will need a win at Fleetwood on Saturday to guarantee their Blue Square North status for next season.
Rangers were 15 minutes away from needing a point to secure safety last night, as Hyde - in the last relegation place - took on third placed Southport at Ewen Fields.
The Merseysiders had led for most of the game through Michael Powell's 20th minute strike, only for the Tigers to breathe life into their survival fight through manager Neil Tolson's equaliser, which was enough for a share of the spoils.
It left the Marston Road men five points clear with two games to go and a better goal difference, as Hyde head to fellow strugglers Redditch on Saturday and Rangers go to ninth-placed Fleetwood.
All which suggest there will be more twists and turns yet, and Brindley knows it.
He said: "There's no easy games at this stage of the season, with this much to play for. Other results have not been very kind to us, if Hyde would have lost we would have been nearly there but it was not to be.
"Thats the way when teams have game in hand on you, now we know we will need a win at Fleetwood on Saturday."
