One more win the aim for Brindley
Stafford manager Chris Brindley believes one more win will be enough for his side to secure their Blue Square North status for next season.
The Rangers boss has set his side a target of four points from their next four games to secure safety from relegation, as the team head to league leaders Tamworth tomorrow (3pm).
Then comes another pivotal clash, with relegation rivals Solihull Moors the visitors to Marston Road on Easter Monday (3pm).
The Moors welcome Hinckley sitting two points and two places above Brindley's men, with all of the other relegation rivals also in action.
Wins for Hyde and Redditch in midweek cut Rangers' points buffer from the relegation places to five points, leaving the manager under no illusions that his side still have work to do.
He believes it will all become clearer on Tuesday morning.
He said: "It's not finished, we know that. One more win would probably do it, mathematically we obviously need more but if we can pick up another three points, I think we would be in a great position to see what we can get from there.
"Results haven't been kind to us this week, so we have still got a lot of work to do. It's looking like four points for our last four games is what it will take, so one win is a considerable part of the way there.
"It's a massive weekend, we have got to get something from those two games. Everything will be a lot clearer after that."
Rangers have their injury problems ahead of the trip to their Staffordshire neighbours, with defender Stuart Pierpoint a doubt and full-back Andre Francis facing a late fitness test.
But midfielder Tom Thorley should return to the side, the on-loan teenager is back from Stoke's training camp in Spain.
In-form striker Nick Wellecomme will again lead the line after scoring three goal in four games, quadrupling his tally for the season.
Brindley added: "It's going to be tough at Tamworth, but at least we are going down there on the back of two good results, so our tails should be up.
"I am really pleased for Nick as well, he has found a bit of form at just the right time."
