Carry on for Rangers boss

Stafford manager Chris Brindley has told his side to get on with it as they face another big ask with the visit of Gateshead tomorrow (3pm).

Rangers face the second-placed side in the Blue Square North on the back of nine games without a win, a sequence that has heightened relegation fears around Marston Road.

Brindley's men still have a five-point buffer from the bottom three, but all of the teams around them have at least a game in hand.

So a win could make all the difference and, with the visitors three points off the top and league leaders Tamworth, there is all to play for.

The manager knows what is at stake and wants no hard luck stories from his side, they must keep their heads up and fight.

If they don't, the end result will be the unthinkable - relegation to the Unibond League.

He said: "We have just got to get on with it, it isn't going to get any easier from here. The chips are not falling our way at the minute, that's the way it is when your down there, but we must fight on."
