Yates expects battle at Woking
Kidderminster manager Mark Yates is expecting a slug-fest when his side go to Woking in the Blue Square Premier tonight (7:45pm).
Harriers start a mammoth sequence of six games in 12 days - four of those away - looking to go eight games unbeaten.
They have won six of those games and all eight have ended with a clean sheet, as their hosts can testify - they were one of the teams to fall in a 3-0 defeat at Aggborough 11 days ago.
Former Albion defender Phil Gilchrist's side could also find no way past Yates' men in a goalless hour of the corresponding fixture at the Kingfield Stadium, which was abandoned because of a waterlogged pitch on March 3.
So the two must do it again in Surrey and, with the Cards in the relegation places, the hosts will need the points as much as Harriers need them to maintain their own play-off challenge.
With such a manic fortnight, Yates is looking for his side to approach their first task in the right way.
He said: "It's a game we are looking forward to, it's a game we will try to win but Woking will be tough opposition, they are down there fighting and need a result as much as we do.
"They will be desperate for points themselves, so we are going to have to go down with the right attitude if we are going to take something from the game.
"If we can do that, we have every chance of winning."
