Lindgren speaks on arguments
Wolves star Fredrik Lindgren threw 15 very good arguments into the long-running JRM v GM machine saga.
The Swede is one of very few among the world's elite to run with the Czech JRM power plant, better known under its old Jawa name.
Many fans reckon a switch would benefit him but, after a stunning 15-point maximum against powerful Lakeside last night, Lindgren was happy to make his case.
He said: "I really don't take very much notice of that, because I know what I'm doing. I believe in what I'm doing, let's put it that way.
"We're working all the time to get the bikes going. I've proved before that the Jawas are really quick."
Lindgren, as captain of last year's unsuccessful side, is all too aware of the need to make a convincing start to this season's league programme.
He said: "It's very important. For us, for our confidence and also for the crowd to know that we've got a good team that can compete this year.
"We started our last meeting pretty badly and were under pressure. But it's good to see all the boys keep fighting and get back into it. We won quite easily in the end."
A big reason for that was Lindgren's five-ride max, which he preserved with a brave outside pass of Adam Shields.
The Swede added: "He tried to push me a little bit. But he was a good boy and left me some room to race."
