Play-off belief for Harrier Lowe

Kidderminster defender Keith Lowe believes that Aggborough will be welcoming play-off action come the end of the season – if the team can keep up the good work.

The ever present right-back heads to York tomorrow (3pm), as part of the side that stormed back into the play-off places with a 1-0 win at Wrexham on Monday night.

He is also part of a defence that has kept six clean sheets in a row ahead of taking to the field at KitKat Crescent - five of those wins – a sequence that has put Harriers back on course to be in the top five come the end of the campaign.

The 23-year-old has seen good and bad form since signing from Wolves in the summer, but he believes that if this sort of momentum can be maintained, few opponents will be able to cope.

Lowe also reveals that there is a secret to Harriers' success – a good, old team effort.

He said: "I really think we will be there. We are hitting form at just the right time, we are flying at the minute.

"We have kept six clean sheets in a row and if the lads can keep on doing what they are doing up front, then we have a great chance.

"It would be no good keeping all these clean sheets if the lads weren't scoring up front, everybody is playing their part.

"If we carry on like that, no one will be able to cope with us."

Harriers boss Mark Yates will be hoping for a better end result than his last visit to North Yorkshire, when his side were knocked out of the FA Trophy in an epic 13-12 penalty shoot out.

But he insists revenge will the furthest thing from his and his players minds - only the points are important.

The manager added: "I don't know about owe them one, we are just worried about points, the quicker we get them on the board the more chance we have of finishing the season in the play off's.

"We need three points for what we are trying to do."
