Halesowen 2 Chippenham 2
Halesowen squandered a two-goal lead as in-form play-off rivals Chippenham grabbed a late point.
The Yeltz went ahead after 15 minutes, when full-back Carl Paul threaded the ball through for Jay Denny to roll home his 10th goal of the season.
The Bluebirds created several chances in response but Darren Caskey doubled the home side's lead by netting a 37th minute penalty kick, after former Chippenham player Aaron Cornwall was bundled over by visiting goalkeeper Chris Snoddy.
The Yeltz came close to adding what would have been a crucial third goal just before the break when Caskey's cross found midfielder Paul O'Brien in front of goal, but he couldn't convert the chance with the ball running away for a corner.
Chippenham made most of the second-half running and should have reduced the deficit, when strikers Sam Allison and Dave Pratt both missed the ball in front of goal from Ashley Williams' 63rd minute cross.
Games between the two sides have a history of late drama and this proved no exception, as the Bluebirds pulled a goal back in the 69th minute, when Allison's cross from the right was turned home by Pratt.
Substitute Sean Seavill pulled the trigger to smash home the 83rd minute equaliser from 20-yards to claim a hard-earned point for the visitors.
