HARRIERS 31 DH 3Kidderminster manager Mark Yates wants to banish the memory of his side's FA Trophy exit by putting Northwich to the sword at Aggborough.

The dust has settled on Harriers' cup ambitions for the season, after an epic 13-12 penalty shoot out defeat at York in midweek.

Now the focus is solely on their Blue Square Premier promotion push, with a play-off place the ultimate aim, the zone in which they have hovered around for much of the season.

Two home games in three days is an ample chance to strengthen that resolve, culminating in Tuesday night's Setanta-televised clash with Cambridge (7:45pm).

Bur first up are the league' bottom side tomorrow (2pm), marooned 14 points from safety with no wins in their last 15 games.

Few would bet against Harriers' - on a ground where they have lost twice in the league - swatting away a side with just one away win all season.

But Yates has warned his side they must do more than turn up to win.

He said: "We have got to get the focus back on our league form and quickly. Northwich come here in a precarious position and are fighting for their lives, but the players know they are not to be underestimated.

"Whatever they do, we are the home team and it's up to us to break them down. They need points for a different reason, but their desire to pick them up will be just as great as ours.

"Whether they come and camp in their own half, whether they come and have a go at us, we need to impose our right to play football on them."

Harriers undertake a rarity of a Sunday game having expected to play three times in a week - before the originally planned match against Cambridge on Monday night was rained off.

Yates made a last ditch effort to get the Northwich match changed again, to no avail.

He said: "We did ask Northwich to move it forward to today, but they didn't want to and thats fair enough.

"Like a lot of teams, we have not seen a lot of games this month due to the weather, so we have a backlog of fixtures that we need to get stuck into.

"We have got two games in three days now and I want as many points as possible come Wednesday."
