After a slow start to the game on a sticky surface, Justin Rowe marked his return from injury with a shot while Nuno Barreto nodded just wide.

Despite Halesowen's early dominance, the Seasiders opened the scoring with their first meaningful attack when Tom Billing headed on a corner for Lewis Powell to fire home on 32 minutes.

Jake Harris then lobbed just over after debutant Yeltz keeper Danny Ireland was challenged for a cross.

Halesowen stepped up a gear with some neat football in the second half and were rewarded with a 56th-minute equaliser when Denny calmly slotted home after Cornwall's cross.

Rowe went close in the 59th minute but was forced wide and Michael Briscoe's deep 62nd minute free-kick was tipped over by back-

pedalling keeper Greaves.

Denny won the game by curling into the top corner from the edge of the area at the end of a superb 80th-minute move.
