The future the entire playing and coaching staff is in doubt as the club battle to stay out of administration.

But Brindley and coach Darren Reid – manager Steve Bull's trusted back room staff – expect to stay to help the club through the cash crisis.

Brindley said: "I don't think I'll be going anywhere. I certainly don't think myself or 'Daz' will be walking away.

"We are committed to the club and I think both of us want to stick around.

"Every player and every member of the coaching staff is in the same boat at the moment so none of us really know who will be around.

"But I don't expect to be going.

"Players will go and others will come in but the most important thing is that the club survives."

Brindley returned last year to the club he served as a player to help former Wolves team mate Bull handle his first taste of management.

But Bull, who is grappling with the financial crisis that has rocked Marston Road, is now facing up to the loss of a host of key players amid the threat of drastic pay cuts across the board.

He admitted yesterday that he could also lose Brindley or Reid, but Brindley is confident that the club will survive.

Brindley said: "Players will come and players will go but the fans will remain and the most important thing is that we keep a club alive for them.

"The next three or four weeks could be a bit chaotic with players coming and going but hopefully it will then settle down.

"The important thing for us is to stay competitive, stay in the league and then 'go again'.

"I think we're all determined to see this through and do the best for Stafford Rangers Football Club."
