Yates was not a happy man despite his team beating Salisbury 3-2 on Saturday, a result that put Harriers fourth in the Blue Square Premier.

A meeting with Mansfield could bring up some pertinent points for Aggborough faithful.

A 4-2 drubbing at the hands of the relegated club League Two club earlier in the campaign was the cataylst for a four-match unbeaten run and some much better form ever since.

The Stags are owed one in the eyes of many, but Yates is urging caution.

He said: "It will be a tough game without any shadow of a doubt. Things haven't been going well for them lately but they've got some good players.

"They were here on Saturday and if I were them I'd fancy my chances. We weren't at our best at all but fortunately we managed to get a result.

"We've had a chat in the dressing room and looked back at the game and the players know that they have got to up their game, because if we perform like we did against Salisbury against Mansfield we'll get beaten.

"I'm looking for a positive reaction and I'm sure I'll get it."

Harriers welcome back midfielder Andy Ferrell from suspension.
